Information as to Status of an Application

Unpublished patent applications are generally preserved in confidence under 35 USC 122(a). Status information is only provided to the public as specified in 37 CFR 1.14. Published applications and patents are publicly accessible; unpublished pending applications are not unless the applicant authorizes access.
